We blend theory and hands-on practice on our courses, leaving you competent and confident
Each year we run a series of courses following the seasonal cycles of fruit tree growing and care. We aim to teach the skills required to plant, graft, and prune fruit trees, as well as how to make the best out of your harvests.
Dates and venues for each training course are listed below, along with a link to purchase tickets. Places are limited, so please book in advance to reserve your spot.
If you’ve got an idea for a course you’d like to see us run, or you fancy a private course for your group, get in touch!

We offer private pruning courses from December to the end of February, and May to the end of August. Discover the mindful puzzle of fruit tree pruning and enjoy a day outdoors helping trees thrive and fruit more bountifully.
Course Feedback
“The knowledgable staff member made the session fun and exciting, explained things really well and let us have a go while always supervising.”
“The teaching style is calm, conversational and I never feel talked down to or like the trainers way is the only way. I like how space is made for discussion and attendees with knowledge and experience are included and given space to share.”
“Friendly and approachable workshop leader. I liked the way information was delivered, easy to understand and remember. Lots of hands on time with the trees using what we learned.”
“I liked the enthusiasm of all involved. Very organised event with very clear instruction on tasks. A hugely enjoyable day, among an age range & background of like-minded people.”
