Come and volunteer at our fruit tree nursery, located in the beautiful countryside just outside Leeds. Buses are available or let us know if you need a lift and we can help to arrange one.

About the nursery:
We grow around 1000 fruit trees per year, many of which are distributed to our local orchard planting projects. We aim to be as ecologically responsible as we can. We use no chemical inputs and minimal machinery. We're committed to sharing the skills of fruit growing with others.
About volunteer days:
You will:
learn & share the skills of fruit tree propagation and care
have a fun day out doing satisfying work
have the opportunity to quiz our staff member(s) about fruit growing
meet other people interested in growing fruit & food
get good exercise! (more gentle tasks also available)
enjoy a vegan lunch (provided by us) with the group
