What’s On at Fruit Works
Workshops • Volunteer Days • Community Events
We want to make fruit growing a part of our culture here in West Yorkshire.
One of the ways we do this is by hosting fruit growing skills workshops, practical volunteer days and seasonal orchard celebrations.
Workshops: We teach winter and summer fruit tree pruning and fruit tree grafting, blending theory and hands-on practice to help you gain skills and confidence in fruit tree growing.
Volunteer Days: We invite people to join us at our fruit tree nursery near East Keswick where we propagate, nurture and grow hundreds of trees every year.
Community Events: Whatever the season, orchards have something exciting to offer. We host Blossom Picnics in the spring, Apple Days in the autumn to celebrate the harvest and make delicious juice, and Wassails in the depths of winter.
