With good equipment, you can quickly, easily and enjoyably juice lots of apples. Have a look at what's on offer, check the calendar for availability, read the simple conditions of use and then fill out the simple form to book the kit. The community hub will then be in touch to confirm your booking and take payment.

Manual Pressing Kit: £30
A complete kit suitable for juicing the fruit from one garden or for community events. Fits in most cars.
Includes: Manual scratter, screw press (12l), box of bits, trugs and buckets.

Electric and Hydro Kit: £35
Ideal If you’ve got lots of fruit, a power supply and a nearby water tap. Will fit in an estate car.
Includes: Electric scratter, hydropress (20l), box of bits, trugs and buckets.

Pasteuriser: £5 with pressing kit, £15 without
Holds 14 x 750ml bottles at a time and is fitted with a thermostat and timer. Pasteurises juice so it can be stored for up to 12 months.

Glass is expensive, but easy to thoroughly sterilise. Includes a new cap.

Picking Kit: Free
What you need to pick apples from the ground, and to shake the tree with friends.
Includes: A tarp, 4 hardhats, 2 picking bags
All you will need:
A good crop of apples or pears!
Containers for your finished juice, or sterilised glass bottles if you're planning to pasteurise your juice
Cloths, towels and a scrubbing brush to clean everything well
From past experience, we know that most problems arise because users haven’t read or followed the instructions we have provided! We don’t run a 24-hour helpdesk, so don’t leave everything to the last minute!
This year we are running a few short (one-hour) demonstrations on how to use the equipment easily, effectively and safely. We will also be filming some short videos.
